Our Story

Our journey into homesteading started back in 2019, just before COVID changed everything. We had just welcomed our first child, and I was driving trucks long hours every day. I was home, but not really present, and with my wife working hard at the hospital, I started feeling burnt out. I realized I needed a change—something that would let me be with my family more and create something meaningful.

So, after a lot of thinking, we decided to start a homestead. The idea was simple: raise our own animals, grow our own veggies, and maybe sell a little along the way. Seemed like a no-brainer, but where to begin? For the next three years, my downtime turned into "study time," devouring everything I could on homesteading, farming, and self-sufficiency. And the more I learned, the more I knew this was the life we wanted.

The food system in our country is broken, plain and simple. We wanted better food for ourselves, and for others, too. That’s why we’re building our farmstead with regenerative agriculture and permaculture in mind—raising animals humanely and growing chemical-free vegetables. Our goal is to create healthier land, provide better quality food, and teach our kids the value of hard work and where their food really comes from. It’s about better food, better living, and betting on ourselves.

We were finally able to buy some land and turn it into what we envisioned. It’s still a work in progress (and always will be), as we build the farm to exist in harmony with nature. Our focus is on creating a place that provides shelter, food, and water for our animals while also producing the best-tasting food for our customers. As we continue to grow, we’re building a small, family-owned business that people can trust. You’ll know exactly where your food comes from—and we’re committed to offering the most delicious, clean meat available, free from antibiotics and hormones.
